Residential Spray Foam Insulation

Our homes are where we spend most of our time and invest the majority of our income. If you are living in a home that you plan to stay in for a while, spray foam insulation is a wise investment. The return you will see on your heating and cooling costs can be tremendous. The savings will pay for your investment typically within 3-5 years.
ATTICS: By simply applying spray foam to your roof deck, you eliminate the heat build up that you fight in summer and trap in the heat you pay for in the winter. It also eliminates the need for traditional insulation in the floor of the attic, allowing it to be removed and making the attic a cleaner, healthier space.

CRAWLSPACES: Spray foam can be used in two ways in your crawlspace. It can be applied directly to the subfloor over a vented crawlspace OR it can be used in conjunction with a vapor barrier to create an unvented and sealed crawlspace. We know the ins and outs of each option and are happy to offer the best for your home.

Commercial Spray Foam Insulation

Commercial buildings of all types can benefit from the advantages of spray foam insulation. Closed cell spray foam serves as an air barrier and vapor retarder at only 1.5" thick and self adheres to almost any substrate. Ethridge Foam Seal has extensive experience in exterior masonry applications such as the one pictured to the right. This application allows for a seamless barrier that also reduces waste and installation time. Brick masons also love spray foam because they do not have to fight with board stock and failing seam tape. These types of projects do require close attention to detail and safety precautions. All the more reason to trust an experienced company like Ethridge Foam Seal to get the project done safely, precisely, and on time.

Spray Foam Roofing

Did you know that all types of roofs can be retrofitted with spray foam from the exterior? Flat roofs, pitched roofs, metal, and various built up roofs are all candidates for spray foam roofing. A higher density closed cell foam is used as the base layer, providing not only a water resistant membrane, but also the thermal insulating advantages foam is known for. The top coat is then applied using either an acrylic or silicone coating that protects the foam from UV rays and adding an extra moisture resistant barrier. Spray foam roofing has been installed for decade. However, it is a different animal compared to insulating from the inside. Trust an experienced installer like Ethridge Foam Seal to increase the efficiency and longevity of your roof system.

Agricultural Spray Foam

The use of Spray Foam Insulation in agricultural buildings such as poultry houses and fruit and vegetable storage is on the rise. With spray foam insulation, the cost of heating and cooling is greatly reduced as well as the loss of livestock and produce by eliminating air and heat loss, and moisture intrusion. It is also the insulation of choice for metal buildings, pole barns, and equipment sheds. Even if the building is not heated and cooled, the spray foam will keep the heat out in the summer and stop the cold drafts in the winter.
